Symphonia Astrologica® performs natal themes as well as secondary, annual, monthly or daily progression themes. It also covers “of the moment” themes, useful for Horary Astrology.

No. Symphonia Astrologica® does not interpret astrological charts. Due to the enormous diversity of possible themes, it is, in practice, impossible to program an interpretation.

Yes. 

Symphonia Astrologica® includes in Help a glossary of astrological and astronomical terms, which can help the astrologer to develop his interpretation, providing elements for a theoretical foundation of astrological theory. 

Soon, in the updates, an Astrology electronic book will be integrated, which the student can use in their Astrology learning.

Symphonia Astrologica® does not define any periodicity a priori.

Many astrology programs available on the market use the Swiss Ephemeris as their astronomical source. Although this system is respected and provides positions derived from NASA/JPL data, there is an inherent mathematical limitation in its interpolation method.

The Swiss Ephemeris provides planetary positions at 24-hour intervals, and intermediate positions are obtained through linear interpolation between two consecutive days. However, planetary motion is not linear: each body moves along an elliptical orbit affected by various perturbations. As a result, the interpolated values inevitably contain errors which, although small, become relevant in precise work.

In Symphonia Astrologica, planetary positions are calculated directly from their true orbital elements, using exact astronomical formulas that take into account the non-linearity of motion. This method eliminates the need for interpolation and ensures a maximum error below 6 arcseconds for the Sun and 30 arcseconds for the other planets.

Thus, Symphonia Astrologica® produces results with scientific precision, suitable for professional research and for those who value mathematical accuracy as the foundation of astrological interpretation.
